NEW Royal Conservatory Music Theory class

SSM is excited to offer a new class for students in Book 4 and beyond.  This Royal Conservatory Music Theory class will meet Tuesdays from 7:00-7:45 pm in room 4D during regularly scheduled group classes.  This semester we will cover the first 5 levels of the RCM curriculum . The workboook Elementary Music Rudiments is a RMC publication which sequentially covers the first 5 volumes of the RMC books condensed in one volume.  We will have these workbooks available at MYArts for purchase on  the first day of class 9/12  for $20 each.  Cash, check or SSM website PayPal on Miscellaneous.

The study of music theory is an essential component of well-rounded musical training, supports practical studies, and enhances and enriches a student’s musical journey and progression. The Royal Conservatory theory curriculum is an effective and well-sequenced path for developing musical understanding and literacy .

The course runs 9 weeks for $90 per student payable to SSM on our tuition page.   Class dates are September 12, 19, October 3, 10, 17, November 7, 14, 21, and December 5.
